ZINEDINE ZIDANE has revealed Marcelo and Isco are “ready to play” despite being frozen out by Santiago Solari.
The Real Madrid pair were forced out of the squad under old management but look set for a return under the French boss – back for his second spell at the Bernabeu.
Isco was dropped for the 4-1 humiliation at home to Ajax and faced disciplinary action after refusing to board the team bus.
Meanwhile, Marcelo has barely had a sniff in recent months – with Zidane saying they should both make a return.
Speaking about Isco, Zizou claimed: “We are here to work, and to think about football. Nothing else. He wants to play. Nothing more. Disciplinary action, nothing.”
When asked whether Isco and Marcelo would feature in Saturday’s La Liga clash with Celta Vigo, Zidane added: “They are ready to play, clearly.”
