THE Young And The Restless star Kristoff St John died of heart disease after an alcohol binge, a coroner has said.
The 52-year-old Emmy nominated soap actor’s body was found inside his home in San Fernando Valley, California, last month.

He was found by his friends who called the emergency services – however paramedics were unable to revive him.
The coroner’s office in Los Angeles today ruled his death was an accident and caused by heart disease combined with an an accidental alcohol overdose, TMZ reports.

The popular actor has reportedly struggled with the suicide of his son Julian St John, who died in 2014.
Julian was being treated in a mental health facility when he tragically took his own life.
NO FOUL PLAY
Kristoff reportedly blamed the hospital for his son’s death and filed a wrongful death suit against them.
The actor threatened to shoot himself around the anniversary of his son’s death in 2017 prompting police to place him in a 72-hour hold for psychiatric evaluation.
He played Neil Winters in long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless from 1991 until his death.
The father-of-three earned nine Emmy nominations for his role.
