Xbox One gamers could see a brand new console released by Microsoft within the next few months.
The Windows 10 makers are busy working on Project Scarlett, their next-gen Xbox which was teased at E3 last year.
It’s expected that more details on the next-gen Xbox consoles will be announced at E3 2019 in June.
But ahead of that the Redmond-based tech giant could be about to release a brand new addition to the Xbox family of consoles.
According to a post by Windows Central, a new Xbox console is set to launch in May.
Sources have told them that the rumoured discless Xbox One S – which is codenamed Maverick – will launch in Q1 2019.
It’s believed that pre-orders for the digital-only Xbox One console will open in April with the device getting released in early May.
Microsoft are allegedly targeting a near-global simultaneous launch for the new Xbox console.
