SASHA BANKS and Alexa Bliss have reportedly had to be “kept separate” backstage as WWE remain optimistic The Boss will return.

Banks’ future remains up-in-the-air as speculation mounts she could leave Vince McMahon’s company.

The 27-year-old former Raw Women’s Champion allegedly tried to quit the company over WrestleMania weekend – where she and Bayley lost their Tag Team Titles.

But dropping the belts was not the only thing that upset her.

It was also speculated the break-up of her and tag partner Bayley due to the Superstar Shake-Up also played a huge role.

During this troubled period, Banks and Bliss did not appear to be getting along on social media.

Little Miss Bliss even blocked Banks on Twitter just prior to reports the latter wanted to leave.

Now that has escalated in to real life, according to Brad Shepard on his Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast.

He claimed: “I was told [Sasha Banks] has to be kept separate from Alexa Bliss for the time being as well.”

The alleged fall-out between the two is not believed to have had any bearing on Banks attempting to gain her release from WWE.

However, it seems the bad blood was enough for them to be kept apart backstage.

Banks has not been seen since WrestleMania and was not been mentioned as part of this week’s Shake-Up as she decides on her next move.

But John Pollock said on Post Wrestling that the company are optimistic over the situation.


And WWE hope to have The Boss back in action in time for their next pay-per-view, Money In The Bank, on May 19.

He said: “I was told by one person that they hope to have her on the next pay-per-view, but nothing is set in stone in that regarding her status.”

It has also been widely-reported Banks will remain on the Raw roster after Bayley’s switch to SmackDown.
