DEONTAY WILDER has claimed both Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller are unknown in America with the duo to square off at Madison Square Garden on June 1.
The WBC king failed in his quest to face the Olympic gold medallist last year after negotiations broke down – leading him to face Tyson Fury.
AJ insisted that he wanted to face Wilder or the Gypsy King in his next outing, but blamed boxing politics as to why it didn’t happen.
The Bronze Bomber meanwhile has questioned whether Joshua’s fight against ‘Big Baby’ will be a success as the Brit makes his first appearance outside of the UK.
Speaking to talkSPORT prior to the announcement, the 33-year-old said: “Jarrell is still an unknown fighter here in America.
“Jarrell is from Brooklyn and stuff like that, but they don’t even know him in his own city.
“He’s not a name that’s been developed in the market here so for me I don’t think it’s gonna be a great look for him because even Anthony’s not that known here in America.
“The people that does know him, they know about $50million (£39m), they know about the story of the $15million (£11.7m) flat and why the fight is not happening.
“So I don’t think they’re gonna accept it very well, but we’re gonna see.”
He added: “I don’t think they’re gonna get the outcome that they’re expecting is gonna happen.

“I know they’re expecting the English to come over and support it big, but it shouldn’t be that way.
“If he done the right thing and accepted the fight, and say he’s coming over to fight Deontay Wilder, the outcome would be crazy.”
Fight fans were left furious with Joshua’s choice of opponent, while Miller himself labelled his heavyweight rival as a “punk”.
