Chris Taylor and Francesca Allen were the two new bombshells who arrived at the villa

What happened in tonight’s episode?

Following Danny and Jourdan’s exit from the villa, the rest of the Islanders had to carefully deliberate who they were going to send home next.

It was up to them to decide whether Lucie and George or Curtis and Amy were going to leave the villa, and making the call on who should go wasn’t an easy one, especially for Maura who was interested in Curtis but had also formed a close friendship with Lucie.

In the end, however, the Islanders decided to send home Lucie and George, subsequently saving Amy and Curtis from getting the boot.

And following an intense elimination showdown, it seemed all that Molly-Mae and Tommy wanted to do was to appreciate the fact that they were both still in the villa.

The two cuddled up in bed as they professed their love for one another, and on the following day, the boxer from Manchester told his male pals that he was happy to know his relationship with Molly is stronger than ever before.

The Islanders felt torn when told that they had to choose which couple would receive the boot

He gushed: “The big ‘L’ has been dropped. It’s a comforting feeling knowing that someone has the same feeling as you. Whenever I see her, I get nervous!”

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae had also discussed dropping the L-word with her girls Anna, Amber and Maura, adding that it “we both knew that we felt it.”

“I’m not the type of person to rush things, so I know it’s a genuine feeling. I know that we both feel it.”

Following the news on June 8 that Amy had decided to quit the fifth series, her exit was also shown in the episode as she spoke with Curtis about her decision to quit.

The former flight attendant told her former “half-boyfriend” that she wouldn’t be ready to find love again within the next three weeks before the show concludes, adding that it was in her best interest to leave.

I want us to be best, best friends but we both need to move on and we both need to find someone that is going to make us as happy as we make them,” she explained to the ballroom dancer.

“Realistically for you, you will not be happy all the time here because you’ll always put me first because you’re such a good person. That’s why I love you so much and that’s why I want you to be happy.

So, I’m leaving today but it’s a positive thing because I’m going to go and start the rest of my life today.”

I’m going to let you go and you pursue whoever it is you want to pursue and hope that you find whatever you are looking for.”

After moving on from Maura, Marvin told Amber that he was interested in getting to know her better

Elsewhere, with Marvin fully aware that Maura was no longer interested in being coupled up with him, the personal trainer turned his attention to Amber Gill instead.

During a chat with Anton on the sun deck, Marvin confessed that he was interested in getting to know the beauty therapist before practicing his speech by role-playing how he would imagine things to unfold.

By the evening hours, Marvin and Amber had a chat by the fire pit, and he certainly didn’t hold back when telling the single Islander: “We’ve spent a lot of time together in a group but I don’t feel like we’ve spent a lot of time together one-on-one. You intrigue me.”

And at the end of the episode, Amber received a text message which alerted the contestants that two new contestants would be entering the villa.

The message read: “Islanders. It’s time to meet your new arrivals. Please welcome Chris and Francesca to the villa.”

Newcomers Chris Taylor and Francesca Allen made their entrance and received a rather warm welcome from the group, but who will they end up coupling up with?

Stay tuned…
