YORK

SEPARATE showed lots of potential when finishing a close-up second on her debut at Newbury last time out. She travelled nicely before being run out of it in the closing stages.

She should have learned plenty from that and can improve today for in-form Richard Hannon. Companion dug deep to win at Yarmouth on debut last month, showing lots of promise over this trip.

There should be a lot more to come. Fleeting Princess had a length in hand when scoring first up at Yarmouth when in front a long way from here. She can build on that.

MAGNETIC CHARM is taking a fair drop in class for her three-year-old comeback. She won her maiden well before more than holding her own in a couple of Group contests, including the May Hill Stakes at Doncaster.

She has plenty of scope to improve and William Haggas is in good form. Twist N Shake is taking a fair hike in grade after winning as she liked at Nottingham earlier this month.

She saw out the mile really well there and can improve considerably today. Natalie’s Joy had plenty in hand when winning a Listed race at Newbury way back in July.

She’s clearly had an issue to keep her off the track since then but should improve for this longer trip and should be fit coming from Mark Johnston.

STRADIVARIUS landed this race last year on his way to a clean sweep of all the big Cup races. We know conditions and the trip suits and he’s only five so could even improve this season.

Southern France was third in the St Leger last term and looks the type to find more as a four-year-old. He wasn’t asked too many questions on his comeback at Navan last time and can step forward from that.

Ispolini won a Meydan Group 3 before going close in a higher grade at the end of March. He may not have quite seen out 2m there and may prefer this distanc

UAE PRINCE ran well on all three starts last season without getting his head in front. He finished with a good fourth at York off this mark when he would have finished closer with a clear run.

He likes this distance and a repeat of his fifth in the Cambridgeshire could be enough here. Mistiroc came back from a break to finish a good second at Doncaster last time when he appreciated this distance.

The handicapper has left his mark alone which gives him a chance under the champion jockey. Lucius Tiberius has had a little help from the assessor since finishing a fair fifth at Epsom latest.

He’s had only a couple of runs for Charlie Appleby so could find more.

LADY DANCEALOT has enough quality to win this and looked very rusty coming back from six months off at Newmarket last time out.

She signed off last season with an excellent win at Goodwood before scoring on the all-weather at Kempton. She looks on a fair mark and can go well at fair odds.

Agincourt caught the eye when beaten a neck into second at Doncaster on comeback latest. She appreciated dropping back in distance to this trip there and a repeat would put her right in the frame again.

Accommodate was an impressive winner at Chelmsford over this trip in October. She has had a wind operation over the winter and is one to watch.

4.35

TENAX has shaped well on a couple of runs for Nigel Tinkler since leaving JP O’Brien including when second at Nottingham last time out. He looks on a fair weight and Ryan Moore takes over from a 5lb claimer here.

Good Luck Fox didn’t get the run of the race on comeback at Sandown last time. That was also his handicap debut and he’s had a little drop in the weights today. This trip is ideal and he can improve as a three-year-old.

Free Love is gunning for a hat-trick after winning with something in hand on her past two outings at Nottingham. She likes this trip and should be competitive despite shooting up the handicap.

5.05

SKYMAX got the job done well on his handicap debut at Newmarket last time out in October. He’s up a fair 5lb for that but is also going over a longer distance here, which should bring improvement.

Laafy battled on well to score on comeback at Leicester latest and starts off handicapping from a fair weight. He’s another who shapes as though he’ll appreciate going up to this distance.

Summer Moon comes here under a penalty after winning by five lengths on his handicap debut 11 days ago. He couldn’t have won any easier and deserves this step up in class.
