THERESA May has demanded Donald Trump tackle Vladimir Putin over a series of international outrages including the Salibsury nerve agent atrocity.
The PM gave her blessing to the US President’s controversial summit with the outcast Russia boss in Helsinki on Monday.

Speaking at a dinner of NATO leaders, Mrs May said: “Open channels of communication between the US and Russia are key to managing the risks of confrontation”.
But in a call for the US to keep solidarity, she also insisted that all members must “raise the cost of malign behaviour whenever it occurs”.
The PM added: “As we engage Russia we must do so from a position of unity and strength – holding out hope for a better future, but also clear and unwavering on where Russia needs to change its behaviour”.
The Novichok outrage – which claimed its first victim this week – is part of a growing pattern of shameful behaviour by the Kremlin, Mrs May argued.
