A SCHOOLGIRL who got slammed by her dad after she asked him to write her CV has proven him wrong – smashing her GCSEs and getting into college.

Lauren Moore collected her results today from Rye Hill Academy, Redcar, and could not have been happier when she discovered she had passed five of the exams – much better marks than her dad’s resume predicted.

The 16-year-old is now heading to Middlesbrough College to study Health and Social Care after achieving the results she needed.

Her dad Ian, 53, who works at Co Op Funeral Care, wrote a hilarious CV for his daughter highlighting her shortcomings.

In it he stated she was skilled in “getting on her fathers t**s” and “browsing Facebook”.

The teen saw the funny side and tweeted it out – and it quickly went viral.

Lauren said: “I asked my dad for help and he surprised me with that CV.

“I found it funny, we get on really well and we’re really close.

“He is just sarcastic, I was looking for just a small job and asked for some help.

“All my friends thought it was funny, they all think my dad’s weird.

“I didn’t realise at first when I read it, I thought he just got my grades wrong and then I realised.

“I’m probably not going to ask him to help with job applications in the future but it did make me feel better about my results because they weren’t as bad as my CV.

“I was scared I might not get onto my course. You need five GCSE’s and I have only done six.”

She hopes to become a nurse in the future but won’t be asking her dad for any help with applications.

After the post went viral, being liked over 1,300 times the teenager from Redcar was shocked when she saw her joke CV all over the Internet.

The delighted teen added: “I thought the post would just get a few likes, then one of my friends sent me a screenshot and it was really weird.

“All of my friends and teachers were telling me it was funny.

“They thought it was fake at first, I did too. My phone has been blowing up, it has been a weird experience for me.

“My brother and sister thought it was funny, they probably wanted one as well.”

She is close to her father and asked for his help as she had worked with him as part of her work experience

The student said: “I worked with him for my work experience but it was boring. I couldn’t work with him full time.
