MARO ITOJE has handed England a huge scare after he limped out of training.
The star lock has only just recovered from knee ligament damage after the opening-day Six Nations win against Ireland.
And at the end of England’s session on Tuesday the Saracens star cut a forlorn figure after he crashed to the deck during a drill with the forwards.
With boss Eddie Jones standing in front of him, as if he was a rival defender, Itoje stepped off his left knee and appeared to grimace in pain before falling over in a heap.
The Lions hero then limped straight off after being asked by teammate and no.8 Billy Vunipola if he was okay.
On the way to the changing room he spoke to a physio before going inside, getting changed and then leaving on his own.
