THERE’S a new viral sensation sweeping the web that is asking people what their hilarious Florida man story is.

All you have to do is simply Google “Florida man” and your birthday to see what ridiculously bizarre headline it generates.

The idea stemmed from Tumblr account user @gandalfsoda who commented: “New fun personality game: “Florida man” and your birthday and see what headline you get (year is not necessary).”

It was later picked up by a Twitter user and with over 23,000 retweets later, the hashtag #FloridaMan started trending in the US.

And some of the replies are producing some tremendous headlines.

One of them included: “Florida man who allegedly threatened family with Coldplay lyrics ends standoff after SWAT promises him pizza.”

Another was: “Florida man dressed as Fred Flintstone pulled over for driving ‘footmobile.’”

The Sunshine state is no stranger to its weird and wonderful stories but most of them are so bizarre they couldn’t even be made up.

Even rapper 50cent got in on the action and tweeted: “Florida man says organised, aggressive monkeys swarming property.”

Other include: “Florida man asks police to test his drugs, thought he was sold bad crystal meth.”

Another was: “Florida men, one dressed in bull onesie, attempt to burn down house with Ragu sauce, police say.”

And one more included: “Florida man arrested after punching ATM for ‘giving him too much money’”
