New horror film Greta has been branded the new Get Out – but what are the reviews like, what’s it about and who’s in the cast with Chloe Grace Moretz?

What are the reviews for Greta?

Film reviewer Rotten Tomatoes has given the film a 56% on the tomatometer.

And 44% of the audience liked it.

While Rolling Stone gave the horror flick a solid 3.5 stars out of five.

And described it as a “nail-biter” that’s “coiled intensity” will “keep you riveted.”

What’s Greta about?

The horror flick is centred around obsessive Greta and waitress Frances

Frances – played by Chloe Grace Moretz – finds a handbag on the subway in New York.

After returning it to its owner Greta, she strikes up a friendship with the eccentric French piano teacher.

Frances recently lost her mother so finds comfort in their friendship with the seemingly kindly widow.

But Greta soon becomes obsessive and displays erratic behaviour prompting Frances to do whatever she can to end their toxic relationship before things get really out of hand.

Who’s in the cast with Chloe Grace Moretz?

Chloe Garce Moretz plays Frances McCullen, a young waitress who befriends Greta.

While Isabelle Huppert takes on the titular role of Greta Hideg, the obsessive piano teacher and former nurse.

In supporting roles are Maika Monroe as Frances’ friend and roommate Erica Penn.

And Colm Feore as Chris McCullen, Frances’ workaholic father.
