IT’S many models’ nightmare to have a “nip slip” while walking the catwalk.
But one designer at London Fashion Week appears to have decided to make this part of their show, with a woman strutting down the runways baring her breasts to the audience.
A model at the A.W.A.K.E. MODE show at London Fashion Week today revealed her breasts in her navy dress[/caption]
The unusual look was featured at the A.W.A.K.E. MODE show, with the model wearing a midi-length navy dress with bell sleeves and a gaping chest area.
Both of her breasts were on full view, but she walked the runway like a pro and didn’t let it faze her.
And it wasn’t the only bizarre part of the show.
A number of the models sported huge plaited hair for the show, styled over their faces like balaclavas.
The show also had models with plaited hair that covered their faces[/caption]
Some of the baffling hairstyles left one eye free, but others concealed faces entirely[/caption]
Some of the hair cover their faces entirely, or left one eye able to see, so it’s impressive how they managed to navigate down the runway without bumping into those with front row seats.
While the show certainly had eye-popping elements, the majority of the collection featured bold coloured dresses, checked garments and over-sized trousers and coats.
A.W.A.K.E, which is an acronym for All Wonderful Adventures Kindle Enthusiasm, was founded in 2012 by Natalia Alaverdian.
The website states that the ethos of the company is to “propose a personal and distinct voice through clothing that balance conceptual, storytelling aspirations with commercial viability.”
According to the site, the “major reference point and inspiration for all of the collections so far have been deviated from the Japanese art and culture.”
