TWO men were stabbed in a horror double knife attack in South London as the capital’s knife crime crisis rages on.
One victim, 26, was rushed to hospital in critical condition after the stabbing in Mitcham at 11:55pm on Tuesday.
A second man also suffered knife wounds but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
There have been no arrests and police are appealing for information.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said on Twitter: “We’re at the scene of a double stabbing at 11.55pm on Tuesday in Rock Close, #Mitcham.
“A 26yo man is at hospital in a critical condition.
“A second man was also stabbed but is not critical. No arrest yet.
“Pls call 101 with info, ref CAD 10010/july23.”
It’s the latest in a harrowing spate of bloodshed as London’s violent crime crisis continues to spiral out of control.
Last month, London was left reeling after three killings in just 24 hours.
It included the deaths of two teenagers – who were killed just 12 minutes apart in separate gun and knife attacks.
In May, figures revealed five young people are attacked with a knife every day in London.
