A SENIOR partner at a top law firm bedded a drunk junior after a boozy works do, a disciplinary panel heard yesterday.
Married Ryan Beckwith, 41, was said to have taken advantage of his colleague, in her 20s, while she was barely able to stand.
The father of one was alleged to have wheedled his way into her flat and, despite her telling him she was not interested, asking if her flatmate had a condom.
The next thing she remembered was waking up naked in bed beside him.
Riel Karmy-Jones QC, told the Solicitors Regulation Authority panel: “He was touching her breasts and she recalls him saying, ‘Nice t*ts’.”
Beckwith is a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, one of the City’s so-called magic circle of big law firms.
In July 2016, he joined colleagues for a booze-up in a pub. He left with his young colleague in an Uber going to her home in West London.
Ms Karmy-Jones said: “When she got out of the car she was very unsteady on her feet and could barely walk.”
Beckwith allegedly took her keys and went into the flat, saying he needed to use the toilet.
The next thing she could remember was sitting on her bed with no lower clothing on, the panel was told.

Later she woke up to find herself naked with Beckwith beside her. She rolled over to stop him touching her breasts.
Ms Karmy-Jones added: “She recalls him asking her if her flatmate had a condom. She does not remember if sexual intercourse took place which is perhaps the thing she finds most distressing.”
Beckwith has admitted there was sexual activity but said he left at 4am after a phone call from his wife.
It is also alleged he kissed the woman after another booze-fuelled works do in Oxfordshire.
Beckwith denies abusing his position and the case continues.
