MANCHESTER UNITED made hard work of beating West Ham at Old Trafford.
Paul Pogba bagged a double from the penalty spot on a difficult evening for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and with Tuesday’s trip to the Nou Camp in mind, nobody from Barcelona will be worried going by this performance.

Played his part in the West Ham equaliser with a poor throw out to Paul Pogba but made up for it with a crucial save from Michail Antonio’s header, moments later United took the lead.
Only his fifth appearance of the season and it showed, his sliced clearance for a corner under no pressure and allowing Felipe Anderson to score on the back post summed up his performance.
Some nervy moments for the England defender but made some important blocks, especially from Valbuena’s close-range effort from a corner.
Not much protection in front of him as the game opened up and was forced to make a number of block and interceptions to keep the visitors at bay.
Got down the wing but like Ashley Young in midweek failed to deliver decent service into the box and struggled to deal with the lively Felipe Anderson.
The Brazilian probably wishes the season started two months ago, he’s starting to show his worth, winning balls and finding team-mates with simple passes.
Asked to be the link between midfield an attack, didn’t get on the ball and make things happen. His only contribution was earning a first-half penalty.
Asked to play deeper to accommodate Juan Mata but took his tally to 16 goals this term both from the penalty spot.
A game to forget for the winger who must have thought he’d moved to the London Stadium the number of times he gave the ball away. Allowed 34-year-old Pablo Zabaleta to dictate to him far too much.
Worked hard and made some good runs, but all his good work was outside the box.
Failed to make any impact on the game and his only contribution was feebly throwing himself down in the box to try and earn a penalty.
