LUCY Benjamin is eying a return to EastEnders as Lisa Fowler – two years after she last appeared on the BBC soap.
The actress recently reprised her role alongside Tamzin Outhwaite for a Walford podcast episode.
And now she’s keen to appear on screen again – as she loved working with Tamzin.
She told Metro: “I’d gone back and had a really fabulous storyline with Lisa being off her medication and then the last thing John Yorke signed off before he left was this podcast to revisit Lisa and Mel and it was lovely to work with Tamzin again.
“It’s lovely with Lisa because I can pick her up and leave her alone – I know that character inside out.
“It’s always a delight to go back and play her I have to say.
“So yeah I would consider everything that gets thrown my way.
“If the timing was right and the story was good – I loved working with Tam.
“We had a great time and their relationship was quite iconic so I would absolutely consider it, yeah.
“I’m proud of Tamzin – I haven’t seen it of late because I’ve not been home with being back to back in plays in time to watch EastEnders.

“I keep up with things like reading press and reviews and I know that she is doing a grand job.”
Lisa last appeared on the BBC soap in 2017 in a storyline which showed her battling with her mental health and not taking her medication.
After putting her daughter’s life at risk, Lisa left Walford and returned to hospital for treatment.
EastEnders airs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights on BBC One
