LIVERPOOL legend Robbie Fowler has been named new boss of Australian top-flight side Brisbane Roar.
The Kop idol, 44, has returned to Australia after his time as a player at Perth Glory in the 2010-11 season to take over the reins at the A-League club.
Fowler has only previously managed one team – between 2011 and 2012 – when he took charge of Thai side Muangthong United.
