Peter Moore will no longer be Liverpool FC’s chief executive officer from the end of August, ending a three-year spell at the helm at Anfield. Moore has been an integral member behind the club’s success in recent seasons, winning both the Champions League and Premier League.
The Reds have also overseen record profits with Moore a key figure in ensuring Liverpool have a strong off-field structure in place, allowing Jurgen Klopp’s team to perform on the field.
He was appointed in the role in 2017 and has been responsibility for the club’s commercial ventures and work in the community.
Moore will be returning to the United States with his wife Debbie, where he has spent the majority of his life.
The 65-year-old first moved across the pond in 1981 and was the Senior VP of Global Sports Marketing at Reebok, President of Sega of America and Corporate Vice-President of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business division.
