Sarri wanted to bring penalty specialist Willy Caballero on the pitch after Kepa signalled he was downed injured in the final minutes of extra-time.

But the Spaniard disobeyed his manager’s order and stayed on before saving just one spot-kick – as well as fluffing a chance to stop Sergio Aguero’s strike – with City claiming the title.

In the aftermath of the incident, Kepa was fined a week’s wages and Sarri has threatened to bench the 24-year-old goalie.

But he was seen in training at sunny Cobham ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.

Caballero – who saved three penalties when City beat Liverpool in the 2016 shootout – had to be consoled after the Spaniard’s mutiny.

But the Kepagate victim is still on standby to face Spurs and was pictured warming up ahead of the big clash at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea wantaway starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi also took part in training drills as he could get the nod against Tottenham following his second-time cameo at Wembley.

Interestingly, Cesar Azpilicueta was all smiles during final preparations for the Wednesday clash.

Blues fans called for the Spaniard to be stripped off captaincy after he did little to haul rebel Kepa off the pitch in bizarre scenes on Sunday.

And Antonio Rudiger’s brother has echoed Chelsea supporters’ demands and come up with a solution – give the armband to his sibling.

The Blues host Tottenham being three points away from the top four as Sarri is still fighting to keep his Stamford Bridge job.
