Ayub Hassan, pictured, was knifed to death in West Kensington

Ayub was knifed multiple times outside a Waitrose supermarket near West Kensington Tube station on Thursday.

His heartbroken family said the youngster dreamed of becoming a barrister.

His mum Siraad Aden, 38, from White City, West London, said her son was a “wonderful boy who was her best friend”.

Friends of his mum said she “collapsed and fell to the floor” when she was told her son had been killed.

Ms Aden told the Evening Standard: “He was a wonderful boy, I remember everything he said.

“He was lovely, he looked after me. He wasn’t only a son, he was my best friend. We want justice.”

One friend, who has known the family for four years, said: “His mum collapsed when she was told. She is on the floor – she is in a very, very bad way.

“He was such a kind, bright and articulate young boy and he was very close to his mother – we don’t know how she is going to cope without him.

“He often used to stay at home to help his mum and to look after his little brother and sister who are both in primary school.”

Three other teenagers were arrested as part of the investigation, one of who has been bailed pending further enquiries, while the other two have been release with no further action

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command investigate.
