In Whyte’s next outing he would knockout old rival Chisora with a devastating left-hook in round 11 of their December rematch.

Speaking to talkSPORT, former WBO world champion Parker revealed he wants to fight fan-favourite Chisora in his next fight in an attempt get a rematch with Whyte.

Parker said: “I think at the moment my team is focusing on Chisora.

“There’s other options, but I think that’s the one that sort of stands out to us at the moment.

“I think as long as it makes sense for both teams I’m happy to go ahead. I’m ready for war. I know he likes to go to war.

“I think that throws me straight into the mix again. Chisora’s a guy who’s been around for a long time, got a lot of experience.

“And, you know, the performance he put in with the last fight against Dillian Whyte – he looked good.

“He looked like the pressure that he put on, the punches that he threw, he was actually leading on the cards before he got knocked out.

“As a fighter, it looks like he’s got a second wind in his career.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn first brought Parker to the UK last March as Anthony Joshua added the WBO strap to his collection of heavyweight world titles.

Hearn stated he is keen to work with the Kiwi heavyweight once again, and targeted an April 20 showdown between Parker and Chisora as Whyte looks to headline the event.
