HE’s one of the busiest men in the biz, but James Corden still took the time out to enjoy a romantic mini-break in Italy with his wife Julia Carey.
The pair took in the sights and sounds of picturesque Portofino as they enjoyed some couple time ahead of James beginning filming the eagerly-awaited Gavin and Stacey Christmas special this summer.

James and Julia looked seriously loved-up as they strolled through the ancient streets, hand-in-hand.
The US talk show host, 40, sported a relaxed blue t-shirt with stylish pink shorts, while Julia team a scooped neck white tee with a high-waisted black mini skirt.
Julia also sported a red and white-striped Christian Dior tote, suggesting she may have been indulging in a spot of retail therapy while in the fishing village.
After having a look round the harbour, James and Julia decided it was time to take it down a notch as they chilled out on a sofa with some drinks.

With none of their three kids in tow, the married pair enjoyed some rare alone time[/caption]
The picture of love’s young dream, the couple – who married in 2012 and have three kids, have three children together – Max, eight, Carey, four, and Charlotte, 19 months – proved the spark is very much alive and well in their relationship as they affectionately touched each other.
At one point, James lay his head on Julia’s shoulder, while she later put her arm around his as she checked her phone.
It was clear James was making the most of his time off from hosting his hit US chat show, The Late Late Show.
And it’s a good job he’s conserving his energy as he has a busy few months ahead once shooting begins on the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special – the first new episode of the BBC sitcom in nine years.
Ruth Jones, Mat Horne and Joanna Page will all join James for the festive special[/caption]
Late last month, James sent fans into a frenzy by sharing a first-look photo of the reunion as the cast gathered for rehearsals.
The black-and-white image showed co-writer Ruth Jones, Joanna Page, Mathew Horne, Larry Lamb, Melanie Walters and Alison Steadman sat around a table with their scripts.
Rob Brydon’s character Uncle Bryn also appears to be absent, while Robert Wilfort, who plays Jason West makes a surprise appearance.
James, who last month hosted the Tony Awards, captioned the photo: “Rehearsals!”

Earlier this month, Sheridan Smith, who played the sister of Corden’s Smithy, said she had not been invited to appear in the reunion episode.
She said: “I wish. No, I’m not going to be in it. I don’t think, anyway.”
Gavin & Stacey aired over three series, plus a Christmas special, from 2007 to 2010 on the BBC.
It told the story of Gavin (Horne), from Essex, and Stacey (Page), from Barry in Wales, who fell in love and married after speaking on the phone to each other every day at work.
The 2010 New Year’s Day finale was watched by more than 10.2 million viewers.
