Ivanka Trump, 37, proudly shared an image of herself with her father Donald Trump, 72, and other White House officials yesterday as the President signed off another Executive Order.
But it was her outfit that caught attention – and sadly for all the wrong reasons.
The mum-of-three was dressed in a pair of green wide-legged trousers which she paired with a white top and matching cardigan. A floral print could be seen on the top.
She completed the look with a pair of green pointed heels in a matching green colour.
Her hair was blowdried in a poker striaght style over her shoulders.
But despite clearly putting a lot of thought in to her look, it was not popular with followers on Twitter.
One wrote: “Oh Vanky – that outfit is hideous. Kisses.”
Another said: “Your outfit is a disaster. Who dressed you today?”
And one simply said: “Ugly outfit!”
Ivanka’s green trousers were not her only look of the day – she also stepped out in a cornflower blue jumper.
She kept her hair and makeup the same, opting for a pink glossy lip and heavy mascara.
Jared Kushner’s wife looked on as Donald spoke during a metting in the Cabinet Room at the White House.
The President said he wasn’t “happy” with a preliminary deal by US lawmakers to provide funding for a border wall with Mexico but added another government shutdown was not likely.
Despite her fail this week, Ivanka was one of the style standouts at the State of the Union address.
She wore a chic black and red look to the important event.
The First Daughter chose an entire look by British designer Alexander McQueen – the skirt, jacket and belt were all from the brand and came to a total cost of $3613 (£2,792).
Her long blonde locks were curled, with one side tucked behind her ear.
Picking up the red stripe on the side of her skirt, Ivanka wore a bold red lipstick.
She teamed this with heavy mascara and flawless skin.
