CARLA Connor was left shaken in Coronation Street when she got a message from Rana Habeeb.
But how can that be when Rana died in the factory collapse. Is it possible that the nurse is still alive Let’s explore that idea…
Is Rana Habeeb still alive in Coronation Street?
Sorry, but no, Rana is very much dead. Although it’s not uncommon for characters to come back from the dead in Soap Land, viewers actually saw poor Rana die in fiancée Kate Connor’s arms.
There’s a rule that if a body isn’t seen then the character could always come back, but in this case we saw the sad moment when Rana passed away.
Also, because Rana had a Muslim burial, her mother insisted the body was washed which is custom.
So, sad as it is, Rana is definitely not coming back from the dead.
But if she’s dead, who’s sending Carla the messages?

Who has Rana’s phone in Coronation Street?
As far as we know Rana’s belongings would still be with the police who are investigating the factory collapse.
But it’s not likely that someone from the police force could be texting Carla, pretending to be Rana from beyond the grave.
The message Carla received said: ‘You destroy everything you touch’ and came from an app called FriendConnect, which seems to be a Weatherfield version of Facebook.
This means that whoever sent the message doesn’t necessarily need Rana’s phone to send the message, they just need access to her social media accounts.
Who could it be?
