Iron Man VR revealed for PlayStation 4, along with all-new suit

MARVEL and Sony have revealed that an Iron Man VR game is in the works, and it’s coming out this year.

You’ll play as Tony Stark, and get to don a new version of his classic suit created especially for the game.

The video showed Tony Stark on his way to foreign climes on business, only to be attacked by high-tech hoodlums

The game will feature “iconic allies” to meet as well as the expected slew of Super Villains to face off against.

A gameplay trailer shown off on PlayStation’s State of Play stream revealed aerial combat, with the player leaping out of a burning jet, defending himself against a bunch of high tech bad guys before speeding off after it.

It’s going to tell an all-new Iron Man story Tony where Tony Stark “confronts ghosts from his past”, and save the world in the process.

The aerial combat in the trailer showed off firing blasters to reduce enemies to atoms, and spinning round to use the PlayStation Move controllers to punch another one out of the sky.

Marvel’s Adi Granov has designed an all-new Iron Man get-up, the Impulse Suit, for the game.

Development duties are being handled by Seattle’s Camouflaj, and it’s coming out later this year.

Sony also showed off a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11, revealed that No Mans Sky was getting full PlayStation VR support and introduced a new dungeon crawler called ReadySet Heroes.
