CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI has flown out to Ukraine pondering words of advice from Frank Lampard over his Chelsea future.
Hudson-Odoi is desperate to be part of Maurizio Sarri’s side which takes on Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League on Thursday.
But the winger is also considering his future at Chelsea, frustrated at the lack of opportunities he believes he is getting in the first team at Stamford Bridge.
Bayern Munich failed in a £40million bid to sign the 18-year-old during January, but are expected to come back in with a renewed off in the summer.
And with the teenager stalling on signing a new deal which will have just one more season to run, Chelsea legend Lampard has urged him to take his time to make the right decision for his career.
Derby boss Lampard said: “Firstly, I’d love him to stay at Chelsea.
“He needs to be doing everything to get in that team.
“Is he working hard and is he developing every day in training and trying to improve?
“I don’t know him that well but I’m sure that’s the standard at Chelsea he’s going by himself.
“Every minute he gets on the pitch he needs to be doing everything he can.
“I understand Chelsea fans want to see more of him and he has to do everything he can to give himself the chance of minutes.

“I think at the end of the season he will look back and think ‘what can I do with my career?’.
“It’s a mad one because a young English player at Chelsea at that age then you really want him to sign that long-term contract.”
Chelsea go into the second leg in Kiev with a healthy 3-0 lead from the first match at Stamford Bridge which saw Hudson-Odoi left on the bench.
Pedro and Willian scored the opening two goals before Hudson-Odoi was introduced as sibstitute to round off the scoring.
