The popstar was scheduled to perform at the annual festival in Seaclose Park on Sunday, June 16, 2019 but pulled out moments before she was due to go on stage.
It came just hours after she took to the stage at the Spice Girls World Tour in London on Saturday, June 15, 2019, as Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Melanie C’s supporting act.
An Isle of Wight Festival spokesperson said Jess was “physically exhausted” and “extremely frustrated” to not have performed.
The statement on the festival’s official Twitter page, read: “Jess had every intention of performing today at Isle of Wight.
“However as the show got closer it became apparent that she was physically exhausted after a very intense last few weeks of touring.
“As a result we took the decision to cancel the show. Jess is extremely frustrated and apologises to all her fans but ultimately her health must come first.”
Reports later emerged claiming the singer partied until 7.00am with the Spice Girls before pulling out of the gig.
Is Jess Glynn banned from performing at the Isle of Wight Festival?
John Giddings, the Isle of Wight Festival organiser, has revealed the songstress will “never” be invited back to the event after dropping out 10 minutes before her set.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “She will never be booked to play the Isle of Wight again.
“It shows no regards for people that bought a ticket.
“It’s so sad that an artist would do that to their fans. She’s let them down.”
When did Jess Glynne perform with Clean Bandit?
In 2013 Jess provided the vocals for DJ Route 94’s track My Love.
The song featured on Annie Mac’s compilation album Annie Mac Presents.
After hearing the track, the band Clean Bandit asked Jess to collaborate with them.
She sang on their 2014 tracks Rather Be and Real Love and soon after released her debut solo single Right Here.

This included tow UK number one singles Hold My Hand and Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself.
