Grand National Festival tips: Aintree 2.20 trends – we help you find the winner of the Top Novices’ Hurdle

SIX of the past eight winners of this race last ran in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham so we’ll concentrate on those runners today.

That means we can cross out Precious Cargo, Rouge Vif, Sofia’s Rock, Southfield Stone and Winston C.

We now have just three left — Aramon, Felix Desjy and Itchy Feet. Given that Irish trainers haven’t fared well in the race, the trends point towards ITCHY FEET.

He led the other two home when third at the Festival and can uphold that form here.
