The production company previously looked for viewers with “strong and entertaining” opinions about TV and many of the current Gogglebox families were “street cast” after being found in locations such as bridge clubs (June and Leon) and hairdressers (Stephen and Chris).
Those interested in possibly joining the show, which catapulted Scarlett Moffatt, Amy Tapper, Steph and Dom to stardom, are expected to commit to 12 hours of filming a week across two six-hour shifts.
Hopefuls have been told to get in contact by emailing email@example.com should they think they’re right for the show.
Previously discussing their casting process, the show’s creator Stephen Lambert said in 2015: “Everybody on Gogglebox has been found and persuaded to be on the show and I think that’s the key to why they are likeable and why the show works, because we get to know these people.

“We’ve never advertised for people on Gogglebox.”
The announcement comes after fans were left in hysterics last night when telly addict Beryl appeared to make “sex noises” while watching a clip from Britain’s Got Talent.
The Channel 4 star was fully enthralled as she watched the ITV show with her husband John, with the clip airing at the start of tonight’s Gogglebox episode.
During the programme’s opening sequence, the show’s narrator said: “In the week astronomers took the first ever photo of the black hole, we enjoyed lots of great telly.”
Showing a clip of brothers Vardanyan Brothers’ BGT audition, it then cut to Beryl’s reaction.
The “posh” retiree was truly in awe of the performance, gasping multiple times before saying: “Oh wow.
“Oh my goodness me.”
She then asked how scientist husband: “How do they do that?

“Oh, they are stars, they have to win.”
Fans at home were tickled by Beryl’s passionate response, with one viewer tweeting: “Is that posh bird having an orgasm?”
Another wrote: “That lady’s having an orgasm over Britain’s Got Talent.”
