GARY NEVILLE believes Real Madrid and Barcelona would snap at the chance to sign Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.
Reports in Spain sensationally claim the Egyptian star wants a move to the Bernabeu after a bust up with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
And Sky Sports pundit Neville, 44, also suggested Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane would be wanted by the Spanish giants.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, he said: “Usually what Barcelona and Real Madrid do is pick the next best players in the world.
“Salah, Mane, Sterling, Sane – you could probably add Bernardo Silva to that from Barcelona’s point of view – you could probably put those five into a pot and Barcelona and Real Madrid, who have always plucked the best players out of our country, would take every single one of them tomorrow, because they’re outstanding.
“The biggest compliment I can pay is that Real Madrid and Barcelona would want all four of them tomorrow.
“They’re the most devastating [wingers] when it comes to goalscoring. In football terms, these lads are killers.
“These are different level. They are 20, 25 goals-per-season wide players. These full-backs now have the toughest job.”
Liverpool have lost the likes of Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho to Barca in recent years while Gareth Bale and Thibaut Courtois have left the Premier League for the Bernabeu.
Sadio Mane is the one that got Liverpool back. He’s the best wide player Liverpool have had for 30 years.
Liverpool legend and fellow pundit Jamie Carragher tried his best to persuade the Spanish clubs – who have won the last five Champions Leagues between them – to try and sign Pep Guardiola’s stars rather than Klopp’s.
He said: “Listen, it maybe a challenge [to keep them].
“But they can’t have all of them can they? So they can take the City one.”
Former Liverpool defender Carragher also admitted he would rather keep hold of Mane rather than PFA Player of the Year Salah.
He said: “I’m a massive fan of Mane. People talk about Jurgen Klopp, the signings of Salah, Van Dijk, unbelievable.
“Mane is the one that got Liverpool back. If you think, he was Klopp’s first big signing, paid £30million.

“He was the signing that got Liverpool into the top four. The next season it was the Champions League final, this season it’s challenging for the title.
“Liverpool are going for a first title in almost 30 years. He’s the best wide player Liverpool have had for 30 years.
“You have to go back to John Barnes since Liverpool have had a wide player like that.”
