Frozen Fluffy the cat ‘comes back from the dead’ after being found under mountain of -8C snow

A CAT who “froze to death” in -8C weather was brought back to life – after she was found buried under snow.

Fluffy’s fur was matted in snow when her owners, of Kalispell, Montana, found her in an unresponsive state.

She was rushed to a local animal hospital where vets used warm blankets and a hairdryer in an attempt to wake her up.

After a few hours she started showing signs of recovery.

The miracle moggy was brought to the Animal Clinic of Kalispell this week where she was treated in the emergency room.

The clinic made a Facebook post about Fluffy’s recovery, which has since gone viral.

It said: “Amazing success and survival story from this week. Some clients found their injured cat buried in snow.

“They brought her to us essentially frozen and unresponsive. Her temperature was very low but after many hours she recovered and is now completely normal.

“Fluffy is amazing!”

It was posted alongside a pictures of Fluffy’s incredible recovery, including one snap of her covered in snow and another of a vet using a hairdryer on the cat’s fur.

The final image showed Fluffy looking the picture of health with a completely snow-free coat.

Hundreds of well-wishers commented on the Facebook post, which has had over 2,400 likes and 1,760 shares since it was posted on Tuesday.


One commented: “Omg my heart poor baby I’m so glad fluffy survived thank you so much for saving fluffy god bless.”

Another said: “Poor little kitty! Thank goodness someone found her! She’s beautiful!”

A third posted: “Poor baby Fluffy! She sure has a fighting spirit! I am so glad she is okay!”
