Frozen 2 trailer leaves fans STUNNED as Elsa returns – here’s why

Twitter has been swamped with excitement over the animated sequel – with many expressing surprise at just how much they enjoyed it. With the first Frozen movie being such a phenomenon, to the point where many people seemingly grew exhausted with its popularity, it seems the excitement and slightly darker tone of the Frozen 2 teaser has been just what people wanted.

Frozen 2 and Elsa have both been trending since the teaser was released.

“Holy s**t sign me up for Frozen 2,” wrote one person. “That was an amazing trailer!”

“Frozen 2 Trailer surpassed my expectations,” said someone else.

“We see Elsa running on the ocean waves similar to Dash running on water in The Incredibles. In a year of unnecessary remakes this could be Disney’s one redeeming movie!”

“Me: Yah idk I’ve never really been all that interested to Frozen,” began another post. “Me, after watching Frozen 2 trailer: Binch, What the f**k”.

“Holy c*** Frozen 2 looks so amazing!” enthused yet another viewer.

Another tweet reads: “Before watching the Frozen 2 trailer: ‘Oh boy here we go again, can’t wait to here Let It Go for the trillionth ti-‘ After watching the Frozen 2 trailer: ‘WHAT THE F**K?! WHY DOES EVERYTHING LOOK SO GOOD! WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE THINGS ARE GONNA GET DARK AS F**K?! WHAT!?!’”

“THIS is the level of graphics that queen Elsa deserves!” said one big fan. “Frozen 2 will be THE movie.. MY GOD!!!”

Frozen 2 unites the likes of Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell and will be out later this year.

It’s a packed year for Disney: they’re also looking at potentially giant numbers for Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: Episode 9 and remakes of Dumbo, Aladdin and The Lion King.

The first Frozen movie came out in 2013 and sparked a huge global craze, spearheaded by the inescapable song Let It Go.

The movie’s out on November 22.
