The Fortnite Prisoner skin is an Epic Games sidequest that can be unlocked by completing the Snowfall challenges.
These challenges are the secret battle stars and banners you might have heard Battle Pass users hunting for during Season 7.
Stage 4 of the Fortnite Prisoner is expected to unlock sometime this week, with fans hoping for something to happen today.
Thursdays have been the traditional time to check for news on what is happening next with the Snowfall Challenge, so things could be in motion by this afternoon.
And for those who are interested in unlocking the Fortnite Prisoner skin, there still could be time to complete the different stages.
Stage 1 involves completing all the challenges available to you until you have unlocked all the available secret battle stars and banners found in the game.
That means unlocking the Prisoner skin through completing 60 weekly challenges throughout Season 7.
It’s a hefty bit of work, but all the weekly cheat sheets and guides available online should make it an easier process.
Having unlocked the Prisoner skin, you can now start completing the next stages to put together his final design.
Stage 2 and 3 of the Prisoner skin can be unlocked by interacting with different objects on the Fortnite map.
It should be noted that you will need to equip the Prisoner skin when you visit these locations.
Polar Peak will be your first port of call, reach the castle and head inside until you find a room with a fireplace, desk, some bookshelves and chairs.
On the desk, you should find a key on top of an open book, which is the object you need to interact with.
Having done this task, you should then finish the match and will eventually see an unlock screen following completion.
The stage 3 key location for the Fortnite Prisoner skin can be found in Paradise Palms.
This will involve tracking down a campfire which you will then need to interact with.
The campfire you’re after is on one of the dusty mountains in the Paradise Palms area, within the I-7 map coordinate.
There have been reports that others interacting and using the campfire can mean missing out on the stage 3 unlock.
But when you do finally reach the right mountain and interact with the campfire, you should complete the match and have unlocked stage 3 of the Prisoner skin.
THE PRISONER STAGE 4
The Prisoner Stage 4 skin is expected to be released into the game today, February 14.
This will likely happen in the afternoon, following the release of the new Overtime Challenges.
Right now, we don’t know what fans will have to find on the map to complete the Prisoner skin.
The final design has been leaked and shows an evolved design based around the lava patterns on the character’s chest and hands.
This would suggest that fans will have to find some kind of hot object to induce the change; however, nothing has been confirmed yet.
But you can guarantee that fans will look to solve the quest as soon as they can later today.
There’s always the chance that some new event will be needed to unlock the Prisoner skin, but until we learn more about the clues, we’ll have to wait and see.
