The TV star, who left the show in 2012, has now thrown shade on new cast members and claimed they are going to great lengths to mimic the magic the trio brought to the show.

Taking to Twitter, Harry shared a photo of himself, Amy and Sam posing together on the first series in 2010 alongside a photo of newbies Chloe Brockett, 18, Joey Turner, 17, and Kelsey Stratford, also 18.

He captioned the shot: “Im confused… my head hurts… whattttt…. I’m done…. byeee”(sic).

Harry wasn’t alone in his thought process as some of his 403,000 commented on his post in agreement.

“Omg I thought that he was like harry,” one fan penned. “This was my exact thought!!!”

A third shared: “They are exactly like the 3 of you!!!”

“I said this!!! That guy is trying to be Harry way to much and the one trying to be Amy…please,” another wrote.

“Btw I thought that girl was so like Amy! They must be trying to re-make them!” a fan penned. “Couldn’t be more accurate.”

A follower weighed in: “Exactly what I thought after watching the first episode. The girl on the right is definitely copying Amy childs in every single possible way. It would be nice to see people being themselves.”

“I thought exactly this!!! It’s all very odd too,” a fan wrote. “I was thinking the same. There wannabees”.

“@MrHarryDerbidge that Chloe even looks like a young @MissAmyChilds. They will never be you 3 though, they just don’t click as well.”

So far viewers haven’t been impressed by the newbies, and slammed them as “boring” and “too young” with the youngest, Joey, just 17.

The new lads in Towie are years younger than the other men

Others accused them of being “reincarnations” of past cast members, with Joey likened to Harry and pal Chloe thought to be similar to Amy Childs.

The newbies came face-to-face with the other cast members for the very first time last night for the launch of the 24th series.

It was revealed earlier this year that Amber Turner, Myles Barnett, Jon Clark and seven other stars were sensationally given the boot.
