CESC FABREGAS has sparked a mass trolling of former teammate Danny Drinkwater after appearing to poke fun at the Chelsea star over his drink-driving charge.
The 29-year-old was pictured taking part in training at the club’s Cobham base on Tuesday having been released on bail for his part in the collision.
The former Leicester star allegedly ploughed his Range Rover into another car when he left a party and required treatment for a number of minor injuries.
Although Chelsea released a statement refusing to comment until all the facts were established, former Blues star Fabregas relished the opportunity to get involved.
Replying to a post about his ex-teammates arrest, the former Arsenal captain tweeted a simple but savage two-word put down: “Danny Drinkwhat?”
The playful jibe at his former midfield rival quickly ignited a mass trolling of the England star, with one fan writing: “Cesc absolutely killing him here! Still got that magic hat.”
Others wrote: “This is the content I like to see”, and referred to Fabregas as “King Cesc and Cesc Fabreclass” for the public mocking.
Drinkwater, who is due to appear in court on 13 May, spent 18 months playing alongside Fabregas at Stamford Bridge before the latter moved to Monaco in January.
The midfielder has been frozen out of the Chelsea side this season by Italian manager Maurizio Sarri, having last featured in the Community Shield back in August.
The 29-year-old, who was signed by the Blues for £35million after he won the Premier League with Leicester in 2016, has not played a competitive game for 13 months.

The star had been at the charity event in a bar in Manchester before the alleged smash, which came just hours before Chelsea’s Premier League match with West Ham.
Players who were not involved in the game at Stamford Bridge on Monday night were called in to train and Drinkwater was spotted being put through his paces.
On Friday, Drinkwater was seen leaving a VIP London nightclub at 1:40am with two women before he was pictured sweating it out at Cobham a few hours later.
