DAVID PRICE and his trainer desperately tried to alert the referee after disgraced Kash Ali had bitten the Liverpudian boxer and got himself disqualified.
Ali, 27, shamefully bit Price, 35, twice on Saturday night as he got himself disqualified after five rounds.
During the fifth, Ali’s best round of the fight, he had the Scouse giant against the ropes and looked to have sunk his teeth into Price.
Despite breaking the pair up, ref Mark Lyson failed to spot the shameful bite and the action resumed.
Soon after Ali would clinch Price and drag him to the ground before taking a disgusting bite on his chest.
Both Price and his trainer Joe McNally desperately tried to alert the ref to what had happened so that it did not go unnoticed again.
Price screamed: “Ref! He’s biting me.”
While a member of Price’s corner said: “Look at his f***ing body.”
The bite mark on Price midsection was unmissable, as the fight was called off in the fifth round and Ali faces losing his fight purse and a suspension.
After the fight, Price said: “He is a disgrace for what he’s done.
“Biting a man on the floor? There’s not many things lower. He should be banned.
“I think he gave it away in the press conference that he was going to lose his head and he did.

“It’s a disappointing way to win; he was in the fight and he’s screwed himself there.
“I hurt him to the body just before the final bite he took — he’d taken a couple early on — and he lost his head completely.
“I’m not too pleased with my own performance, there was a lot of tension going in but the job is done.
“He wants to do the rematch but I don’t want to share the ring with an animal like that again.”
