DAVID BECKHAM has lined up former Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari to become his first boss at Inter Miami.
The MLS’s newest franchise kick off their debut year next year and the former England skipper wants Solari in charge.
Solari played at the Bernabeu from 2000-05 – when Becks was in his pomp – and returned for a short spell as boss in 2018/19.
He has previously played for Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Argentine giants River Plate.
Beckham has been targeting Lionel Messi as his marquee signing for the MLS new-boys.
Manchester City legend David Silva is another target.

Argentine Solari won 22 of his 32 games in charge of Los Blancos.
Beckham was also thought to have considered Carlo Ancelotti but he is unlikely to move away from Europe at this stage of his career.
Becks’ shortlist of potential bosses was also thought to include ex-Manchester United manager David Moyes.

But the Spanish-speaking Solari would be from the right background to appease an area of Florida known for its large Hispanic population.
Miami-based beIN Sport TV journalist Carlos Suarez told his Twitter followers that Solari had become the “great favourite” to take the role.
