David Beckham reveals he makes sons Cruz and Romeo RUN three miles to school every day

DAVID Beckham has revealed he gets sons Romeo and Cruz to run THREE miles to school every day – and he’s right there jogging alongside them.

The 43-year-old football legend filmed the three of them pounding the pavement this morning, writing: “So apparently it’s 3 miles to the school well done boys.”

David shared a video from his school-run workout this morning

Former England captain David is seen with Romeo, 16, and Cruz, 13, in their exercise gear legging it through the park while other parents glide by in their cars.

And it seems he’s one of those runners that likes to talk, chatting: “Morning Cruz. How many miles again today? Hey Romeo. Nice haircut. Are you all right?”

The pair seem to be having no trouble keeping up with their former athlete dad, who is so good at running he has long been said to have completed the famous ‘bleep test’ endurance challenge.

However, since none of them are carrying any kind of bags, the location of their school stuff or a change of clothes is something of a mystery.

Romeo, seen sporting a short new hairstyle, has most teenagers’ most important possession to hand however, jogging with his mobile clamped in his palm.

David has been making the most of his free time since retiring from football, often being seen doing activities with his children.

As well as Cruz and Romeo, he has 19-year-old son Brooklyn and seven-year-old daughter Harper with Victoria Beckham.

The couple will celebrate their 20-year anniversary this summer, after meeting at the height of his sports stardom and her Spice Girls musical heyday.

David has admitted the marriage hasn’t been entirely plain sailing, admitting: “To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work.”

But we know Becks isn’t afraid of hard work – after all he’s the only one who has to run home after the school run.
