CORONATION Street’s Alan Halsall has revealed that he doesn’t have a date for Valentine’s Day – despite his shock weight loss and hair transplant following his divorce.
The 36-year-old star has overhauled his image since splitting from wife Lucy-Jo Hudson in May last year, but took to Instagram to reveal that he still hasn’t found anybody special to spend the romantic date with.
Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, simply shared a meme of a pint of milk that expires on February 14th.
The image reads: “When your milk has a Valentine’s day date and you don’t.”
The actor simply captioned the image with a violin emoji alongside the crying with laughter icon.
Alan was quickly inundated with supportive comments from fans, including offers to go on a date with him.
One eager follower wrote: “I’ll be your date.”
Another added: “I’ll happily be your Valentine.”
A third shared: “I’ve always thought you were gorgeous! Happy Valentines.”
The post comes just days after Alan took to his Instagram Story to reveal that he is burning thousands of calories a day in three-hour gym sessions.
The father-of-one shocked his followers with multiple screenshots of his workout app that showed he’d burned 4,321 calories over a 24 hour period – almost double the recommended daily calorie intake for a man, which is 2,500.
Alan previously admitted that he had transformed his body after spending “all day” at the gym, three days a week following his split from Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo.
The two met on the Manchester soap set and started dating in 2005.
They married in 2009 and briefly split in 2016 before announcing their divorce last year – with Lucy-Jo confirming her new relationship with panto star Lewis Devine just eight weeks later.
The couple share custody of their five-year-old daughter, Sienna-Rae.
Prior to their split, Alan underwent a hair transplant – proudly showing off the results of the operation on his social media page.

The soap star underwent the procedure almost three years ago, but only witnessed the full extent of his hair regrowth when paying a visit to his doctor’s office in February last year.
Clearly chuffed with the results, Alan shared a snap of his new, full hairline juxtaposed with his old one, which was up on a computer screen in the background.
Sharing the image to his Twitter page at the time, Alan wrote: “Before and after in one picture.”
