GINA Seddon can’t catch a break when it comes to her sister Sally Metcalfe in Coronation Street and next week she’s even accused of stealing from her.
Desperate to make amends with Sally – after helping her get sent to prison for fraud and then making a move on her husband Tim – Gina decides to throw a party for Sally to win her round.
Gina – who’s played by Connie Hyde in the ITV soap – is left stung when Sean Tully suggests a night out for the factory workers.
Sally – Sally Dynevor – agrees to go on the condition that her sister isn’t there. Gina tells Sally’s daughter Sophie Webster about her party plan and excitedly starts a collection for the bash.
Gina’s thrilled when Underworld boss Carla Connor makes a generous donation and pushes the envelope of cash through the door at No.13 for Sophie.
But Kevin Webster finds the money and thinks it’s from Sophie to pay for his holiday with son Jack. Delighted Kevin and Jack pack their bags and set off.
