CORONATION Street fans think they spotted a mistake on last night’s episode after Gary Windass gave the loan shark the builders’ yard – despite not owning it.
The builder (Mikey North), who has found himself in deeper and deeper trouble recently, was forced to hand everything over to Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) to pay off his crippling debt.
But as he told Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) that he had even given the yard, those watching at home were confused about if he really owned it.
From 2014-2016 the yard was owned by Jason Grimshaw – his dad Tony Stewart bought the place from Owen Armstrong as a birthday present.
In June 2016 Jason left Weatherfield, and Pat Phelan took over the place, while Eileen looked after the finances.
After Pat turned out to be a serial killer, Eileen made Gary the manager – but it’s unclear whether she actually signed it over to him.

Taking to Twitter to discuss it, one person wrote: “ Is Gary going to remember it isn’t his business and he’s running it for Jason? Might want to mention to Eileen he’s been to a loan shark to keep her son’s business going @itvcorrie #Corrie.”
Another asked: “How can Gary sign over his business when it’s actually still Jason’s?! #Corrie #CoronationStreet.”
While a third questioned: “I was wondering if Rick could take everything when Gary doesn’t own it #Corrie.”
During last night’s hour long special, Gary was left bloodied and bruised after a run in with Rick, who he owes £11,000 to.
He finally tells Sarah just how much trouble he is in and that he was forced to give Rick pretty much everything.
