CORONATION Street viewers are convinced Becky McDonald is about to make a comeback to the cobbles.

The former barmaid – who is played by actress Katherine Kelly in the ITV soap – left Weatherfield in 20102 after a bitter war with Tracy Barlow, and hasn’t been seen since despite her sister Kylie being murdered by Clayton Hibbs.

Becky could be returning for her revenge if Clayton gets out of prison

But tonight Clayton’s mother Shona was warned that Becky would return for revenge if she continued trying to get Clayton moved to an open prison.

Leanne Battersby told her: “It won’t just be the Platts who kick off. Kylie’s sister Becky, have you met her?

“She’ll definitely have something to say about it. I know she’s in Barbados but you wouldn’t want to cross her.”

Viewers are convinced it’s a sign Becky is set to return to the cobbles to deal with Clayton, who will soon stage a daring escape from prison.

Kylie was knifed to death in 2016 by Clayton as she tried to protect Gemma Winter from being robbed in the kebab shop.

She died in husband David’s arms on the cobbles in front of the Rovers.

However he later found love with Shona, neither realising who the other were and after they both discovered the others secrets, they finally began to move forward.

But Clayton recently reappeared after his dad Dane died in a bedsit, and told Shona he needed her to get him out of the prison he was in or he would be murdered.

When Shona discovered that wasn’t possible, Clayton told her the only option would be for her to do what Dane was doing and supply drugs to the prison to keep him alive.
