CHRIS Kamara’s Strictly dream has been well and truly shattered – after he failed a fitness test.

The popular Sky Sports Goals On Sunday host and Ninja Warrior presenter has revealed he was forced to turn down a spot on this year’s BBC dance show as his body is “totally knackered”.

He has so many injuries from his footballing past with clubs including Stoke and Bradford that he wouldn’t have been able to last a whole series.

He said: “I’ve been invited to do Strictly and they told me who I would be dancing with because, apparently, you have to train with them for six weeks before.

“But it’s just not going to happen because my body is knackered.

“I got injured just before we filmed Ninja Warrior, which stopped me playing football with my mates.

“I haven’t played football since. I’m crocked now, my back has gone and I feel like my body has packed in.

“I’m totally knackered now. They’d need some serious WD40 for me.”

It comes after Kammy impressed viewers on the Sport Relief football special of Strictly Come Dancing last year.

Audience members shouted his catchphrase “Unbelievable Jeff” as he danced alongside pro Anya Garnis.

However, Kammy still has something to look forward to as he is returning to host obstacle assault course show Ninja Warrior UK — on Saturday at 6.30pm on ITV — alongside Ben Shephard and Rochelle Humes.

The new series sees one contestant take on the course dressed as Donald Trump.

Speaking about the hapless hopeful, Kammy’s co-star Ben quipped: “He was in a suit with a red tie, the whole look, including the hair. Ironically.

Pecs on beach

FOLLOWING the success of dating game show Naked Attraction, C4 is keeping it steamy with reality series Naked Beach on Thursday.

In the first episode, at 8pm, three Brits with body confidence issues jet to Greece to spend time with body-positive individuals such as Charlotte, and go starkers apart from a splashing of body paint – even I join in on the action.

Unlike with rival series Love Island, it’s refreshing to see stars of all shapes and sizes.

We can’t beli-Eve this, BBC

THE BBC has made some odd decisions over the years – but making us wait another two months before airing Killing Eve 2 is truly crazy.

Fans are livid because the second season of the hit thriller, created by and starring British talent including leading lady Jodie Comer, is being shown in the US but cannot be seen in Britain.

We have to wait until the beginning of June, when all eight episodes will have aired on BBC America.

It’s all because the Beeb wants to put the show on iPlayer as a boxset, as it did with the first series, so viewers can binge-watch it.

But the move risks leaving Killing Eve’s viewing figures for dead, as some fans will hunt for it illegally online.

The BBC is obsessed with this boxset idea, but this experiment is destined to fail.
