He said; “I’ve never had a personal fitness session from anyone.”

Speaking of her own PT class later today, Rachel replied: “Sometimes I feel like I could be a little bit sick but I’m never actually sick.”

Chris then told listeners that Vassos, an endurance runner can really push himself when he’s training.

Vassos replied: “I do actually more to myself than if someone is pushing me or I’m running with other people.”

Chris, who ran the London Marathon in April and hosted the first RunFestRun earlier this month, admitted: “I don’t do that, and Tash my wife, she’s very similar to you Vassos and I can’t go out running with her.

“A – because she’s miles fitter than me and it’s a bit embarrassing for everyone concerned, least of all me actually – I don’t mind it so much – but everyone else is like ‘what’s he doing?’
“But she pushes me too hard, and when she starts to talk to me about what I should be doing, and how I should be doing it, that makes me feel…as I’m doing it…it hurts.

“Her words hurt me, not emotionally at all, physically. I’m like ‘ow, what you’re saying is hurting’.

But Chris admitted even half an hour training with his wife was too much as she pushes him so hard

“I’d happily run a marathon every day of the week rather than work out with Tash for an hour, even half an hour.”

Despite his reluctance to train with his wife of 12 years, Chris is a keen runner and received great support from famous athletes including Paula Radcliffe and Colin Jackson at the first RunFestRun earlier this month.

The event was such a success Chris has confirmed it will return in 2020.
