Cheltenham Festival 2019 runners and riders: Grand Annual final field confirmed as Paul Nicholls’ Magic Saint heads 20 declarations


MAGIC SAINT bids to anoint Paul Nicholls with a winner in the Grand Annual on Friday.

The 7-2 favourite heads a competitive field of 20 for the two-mile contest.

The French recruit heads a strong team for Nicholls, which also includes last year’s winner Le Prezien and Brelan d’As.

Among those taking them on will be Nicky Henderson’s Whatswrongwithyou, who won his most recent outing by 17 lengths.

Forest Bihan tops the weights for trainer Brian Ellison, while at the other end of the handicap, All Set To Go lines up for Kevin Frost.

Gino Trail and Bun Doran bring some class to the party, while tearaway Diakali could face competition upfront from Marracudja.
