CHELSEA will offer Callum Hudson-Odoi a new, £100,000-a-week deal after the England starlet’s Achilles injury stalled Bayern Munich’s interest in him.
SunSport exclusively revealed today that the winger, 18, hopes to be fit for the start of next season following his freak accident in Monday night’s 2-2 draw with Burnley.
And the Telegraph say Chelsea hope to tempt Hudson-Odoi with a new contract while transfer talks cools during the four months he will take to recover from his tendon injury.
The Stamford Bridge academy product has resisted the Blues’ previous attempts to extend his current deal, which ends in the summer of 2020.
And he handed in a transfer request during the January transfer window as Bayern lined up a £40million bid.
Chelsea rejected Hudson-Odoi’s plea to leave and in the past few weeks manager Maurizio Sarri has given the wideman five Premier League starts.
So Hudson-Odoi’s first-half withdrawal at home to the Clarets was a big blow for both club and player.
Now, though, the Blues hope to use it for their advantage.
They will offer him a new deal while interest from European giants, including Bayern’s main Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund, is put on the backburner

Hudson-Odoi is expected to have surgery within days on his ruptured Achilles tendon.
He was filmed leaving the Bridge on Monday night using crutches and wearing a protective boot.
But if there are no complications he should be back playing by the end of July or, more probably, August.
