A CHELSEA fan burst into tears after meeting her hero, N’Golo Kante, after the team’s training session on Thursday…but the humble star seemed just as nervous.
The Blue’s latest Community Day invited a number of fans to watch the stars be put through their paces before getting the chance to meet them after for autographs.
Telamsile Dlamini, referred to the Stamford Bridge club by the Willow Foundation, was so overcome with emotion at the chance to meet Kante that she cried.
Chelsea released a video of the 21-year-old wiping away a tear on Twitter as she was greeted by the French midfielder at the Cobham Training Centre.
The World Cup Winner – famed for being one the nicest guys in football – also surprised the young Blues fan with a signed Chelsea shirt.
Speaking over the clip, Telamsile reflected: “I can’t believe that I’m here. Today was very special because I got to meet my favourite football player, N’Golo Kante.”

The Chelsea star is regularly hailed for his humble side, which only increased last year when it was revealed he refused to let his image rights be paid into an offshore tax haven.
As well as featuring in France’s 4-2 World Cup final over Croatia with a stomach bug, Kante was too shy to hold the most iconic piece of silverware in sport.
Despite his Chelsea teammates showing up at training in luxury cars, Kante still drives a second-hand Mini Cooper he bought when he joined Leicester three years ago.
He’s also gained a reputation for surprising supporters before, after accepting a fan’s dinner invite to watch Match of the Day after he missed the Eurostar.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek also spent time with the special visitors and said: “It’s great to take some time out and give back to the community – it’s very important to make sure we do these things.
“You just have to look at the smiles on the children’s face to see how much it means to them.
“I enjoy these opportunities to give back as do the rest of the squad – it’s important we give these moments to our supporters and also to those who may need that little bit of a boost during a difficult time.”
