CHELSEA centre-back Kenneth Omeruo has sparked interest from Spain and Germany – after becoming the club’s latest loan star.
Omeruo, 25, has been at Leganes in La Liga this season – helping them keep a clean sheet in a win against Real Madrid and impressing against Barcelona.
There is an option to buy the Nigeria international at the end of the season – but rivals and clubs in Bundesliga have also now shown interest.
Omeruo has never played for Chelsea but has been loaned out to the Championship, Holland and Turkey before heading to Spain this season.
Like ex-Chelsea stars Mo Salah and Kevin De Bruyne, he is likely to move away from Stamford Bridge.
He has played against Lionel Messi at the last two World Cups but has only played in the Championship in England during his loan spells with Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are weighing up Zinedine Zidane as a successor to under-fire boss Maurizio Sarri.
The Blues fell to sixth after losing 6-0 at Manchester City.
And Zidane’s amazing track record at formre club Real Madrid included three Champions League titles in a row.
