ONE Sheffield United fan left his mates in stitches after he hilariously fell over while booting the ball back into play at Bramall Lane.
It was a moment to forget for the Blades supporter who ended up on his backside after leaping out of his chair in the front row to return the ball.
As Brentford defender Julian Jeanvier raced over to retrieve the ball from the stands, the United fan volleyed it back to him – before he immediately tumbled over.
His friends sitting next to him were sent into hysterics – as one almost fell off his chair laughing – with another shocked mate putting his head in his hands in disbelief.
While other fans sitting behind him couldn’t help themselves as they chuckled away, though thankfully the supporter in question also found the funny side.
And he would have been in a joyous mood at the full-time whistle as United beat the Bees 2-0 to boost their chances of finishing in the automatic promotions spots.
